HEI Hotels & Resorts has announced the hiring of Tony Lariño as Chief Investment Officer in the company’s latest addition to one of the strongest teams in the hospitality industry.
Over a 28-year career spanning investment banking, real estate and hospitality, Lariño has completed billions of dollars in transactions across the capital stack, both in the United States and abroad. international. He has become a respected industry leader with deep connections in the hospitality space. Most recently, Lariño was a partner at Rockwood Capital, where he led the company’s hotel investments and managed value-added real estate funds with over $2 billion in assets. Prior to Rockwood, Lariño worked at Westmont Hospitality and Starwood Hotels & Resorts as SVP of Development for full-service brands in the Americas. Prior to joining Starwood, Lariño began his career in Morgan Stanley’s investment banking group.
Lariño brings his deep expertise to HEI, which has seen continued growth in its roster of institutional capital relationships as well as its hotel portfolio over the past two years.
