The company wins an outsourcing contract as part of a competitive call for tenders
LONDON, September 16, 2021 / PRNewswire / – International Game Technology PLC (“IGT”) (NYSE: IGT) today announced that its subsidiary, IGT Global Solutions Corporation, has been awarded a Facilities Management Lottery contract from the Connecticut Lottery Corporation at the following a competitive tender. The contract includes an implementation period for the installation of a new central system, which is expected to be commissioned in April 2023. Once the system is in service, the contract will last for 10 years up to April 2033, with five additional years of extension options.
As the most reliable supplier of lottery systems and solutions, IGT will deliver its high performance Aurora ™ central lottery management system through a system conversion that replaces the system currently in place. Aurora integrates a suite of flexible solutions designed to manage, transform and further develop the business of Connecticut Lottery Corporation. The platform will provide intuitive and user-friendly applications, tools and reporting capabilities that will handle all Lottery transaction processing, game management and back-office operations.
