Fulfill leadership roles; hiring of optometrists and business lawyers



CenterPlace Health made three critical additions to its leadership team with the appointment of Debbie Green as financial director, Lisa Gonzalez-Abello, MD, as Chief Medical Officer and Roseanne Gutmann as director of human resources.

CenterPlace Health is a federally licensed health care center that provides high quality, low cost health care to families in Sarasota County.

This year, the center nearly doubled its service capacity by adding two medical and dental clinics in Sarasota and Venice. The three hires will support efforts to expand services to reach even more families throughout the community.

Green joins CenterPlace Health to handle all finance related matters, including accounting, billing, accreditation and compliance mandates.

In his new role, Gonzalez-Abello will oversee provider recruitment and retention and overseeing quality assurance initiatives, while providing leadership and mentoring to clinical staff.

Gutmann will bring a strategic approach to recruiting, leading and developing staff to support a positive and productive work culture.

Green is a Certified Public Accountant with over three decades of accounting and finance experience. She has extensive experience in the non-profit industry.

She graduated with Distinction from the University of Buffalo with a BA in Registered Accounting.

Gonzalez-Abello was previously a primary care pediatrician at CenterPlace Health. Her background as a medical professional at CenterPlace enables her to provide leadership and expertise for the Centre’s clinical quality measurements.

She received a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, a master’s degree in biomedical engineering, and a doctorate in medicine from the University of Miami.

Gutmann has extensive experience in strategic human resource management, including leadership experience in behavioral health care organizations in Southwest Florida that have provided behavioral health and addiction services for patient needs. inpatients and outpatients, pharmacy, social services and community outreach.

She holds a BA from Clemson University and an MA in Human Resource Development and Management from Virginia Commonwealth University.


Dr Logan Page joined Center For Sight as an Optometrist in the Siesta Drive, Sarasota office.

Page has provided eye care to patients in Arkansas for the past three years. He is dedicated to patients, as well as his community, volunteering for many eye related organizations.

He was an optometric trainee at the Center For Sight in 2017, during his graduate studies.

Page received his doctorate in optometry from the University of Missouri-St. Louis, where he received the Terry Ingraham Diversity Fellowship two years in a row, as well as the William R. Jackson Jr. OD Fellowship in 2015.

He volunteered for the Brandon Burlsworth Foundation’s Eyes of a Champion event, which offers eye exams and glasses to children from low to moderate income uninsured families in Arkansas. As an eye care provider for Lions Club International, he provides eye care services to those in need.


PGT Innovations, from Venice, recently appointed Ryan S. quinn as internal Advocate General.

Quinn has over 12 years of experience representing and advising a variety of corporate law clients. Most recently, he was Senior Vice President, Co-General Counsel and Secretary of LendingTree Inc.

As in-house general counsel for PGT, a window and door manufacturer, Quinn will identify and manage legal issues for all departments, as well as oversee corporate governance and trade policy. In addition, he will handle contract negotiations, advise the board of directors on legal matters and contribute to compliance reports and public policies.

Quinn holds a Juris Doctor from Case Western Reserve University and a BA in Political Science and Business Administration from Baldwin-Wallace University.

He is a speaker and presenter for OnConferences, the Association of Corporate Counsel and the Ohio Bar Association.


FourThought Private Wealth (formerly Pinkerton Private Wealth), a Venice-based wealth management firm, has hired Alex herrington as planner and Matt Macek as responsible for customer relations.

Herrington comes to FourThought from Fidelity Investments, where he has held positions such as financial representative and relationship manager.

After obtaining his CFPO, Herrington became an investment and financial consultant, working with high net worth clients of Fidelity. Prior to working in financial services, Herrington held various customer service and client-focused positions.

At FourThought, he will be responsible for managing clients’ investment portfolios, planning and more.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and finance from the University of Central Florida.

Macek will assist FourThought clients with account transactions and serve as the contact for account matters.

He has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, including accounting, consulting, product and trading positions. He has spent over 10 years working with clients of Wells Fargo Advisors in Missouri and Florida.

Macek holds a Bachelor of International Business degree from the University of St. Louis.
